Our tour is scheduled for June 29, 30 & July 1, 2021. The Live Sessions began on June 3, and there were Live Sessions twice a week through June 24.Ī Virtual Tour of Produce Handling Operations in California, including live narration and discussion by industry leaders and technical experts from the University of California has also been added as an option to the UC Postharvest Technology of Horticultural Crops Virtual Short Course. The interactive, virtual format includes pre-recorded video presentations, weekly live overviews, highlights and Q&A sessions with instructors, demonstrations, produce experiments, and break-out discussions. Dozens of participants from across the globe joined this virtual course and learned about the latest technologies used for handling fruits, nuts, vegetables and ornamentals in California, and the underlying biology principals. Our signature course, Postharvest Technology of Horticultural Crops, as well as our tour, was offered again in 2021.
